The Christmas spirit arrived a day early at Crabtree Farm Primary School when we took over 300 children to see Aladdin at the Nottingham Playhouse. This is the first time we have taken that many children out on a school visit and it took an impressive six buses for us to reach our destination. We would like say a huge thankyou to Mrs Cullen for her hard work behind the scenes

making the visit possible and everyone at the Playhouse for making us all laugh. We are already looking forward to Cinderella next year!

When Chris Tilley our Tesco Community Champion and School Governor invited us down to help collect food for our local Foodbank we jumped at the chance to help support such a worthwhile organisation. Four members of our School Council went down to Tesco and handed out leaflets asking people if they could make a donation to people less fortunate than themselves. We were really pleased with the amount of donations we managed to collect during our time in store and would like to thank each and every person who came to speak to us about the fantastic work the Foodbank does.

To say thank you Chris gave our pupils a big bag of Celebrations and congratulated them on their hard work.
