On Monday the 22nd of May, our School Council were invited to attend the School Governors meeting to get an insight into how the governors work (making decisions and information sharing).
School Council children from KS2 were able to see how a meeting is held and how the group talk about key information that effects how the school will run. School Council were able to make a positive contribution to the meeting, and have left with a number of ideas on how they might hold their meetings in the future.
School Council will hold their own meeting soon to discuss school improvements from a pupil’s perspective. If you have any suggestions about school improvements or changes to how we make decisions here at Crabtree Farm, you can blog here or take your ideas to your Class Councillor so that they can raise it at the next school council meeting
