Well the 2018/2019 academic year is at an end and what a fantastic 12 months it’s been here at Crabtree Farm! We’ve been on an incredible seven residential visits, visited exciting places such as: Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Cresswell Crags, Perlethorpe, Sherwood Pines and the National Space Centre to name a few. We’ve also had visits from the Partake Theatre Company, the Fire Brigade, the Ambulance Service and have taken part in Area Band, Primary Parliament and Snappy Opera alongside other local schools.
I am incredibly proud of the opportunities we as a school have been able to offer the children we are fortunate enough to work with. This time of year at school can be very bittersweet with us having to say goodbye to our year six pupils, but it is important to remember all they have achieved during their time here at Crabtree and as a staff team we are all very proud of the conscientious young people they have become.
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish them all well as they continue on their educational journey, and to wish the whole Crabtree Farm Primary School community a fun and safe summer. I look forward to seeing you all again on the 3rd of September for what I hope will be another exciting year at Crabtree!
