Well here we are! We’ve made it to Christmas 2021! It has been a very strange year in a number of ways for us all, but we have all pulled together in typical Crabtree style and I would like to say how touched I am by the incredible support you have all shown not only to each other, but to us at school.
There’s been a wonderful atmosphere around school over the last seven weeks and I have really relished seeing the children enjoying being at school and having the opportunity to reward good behaviour.
Obviously, this festive season was once again a little different to what we have grown accustomed to but that hasn’t stopped it feeling just as magical as in previous years. We kicked off the Crabtree Christmas celebrations on the 1st of December with a virtual Christmas Tree Assembly and I would like to personally thank all of the children for the fantastic Christmas decorations that now adorn trees across school, and some were chosen to be used at St. Mary’s Church.
On behalf of the staff team and myself I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and we all look forward to seeing you for the start of what we hope will be an exciting spring term 2022.
